Designed for security personnel authorized to carry firearms, this course covers safe handling, use-of-force principles, and threat assessment. Participants develop critical decision-making skills while gaining a strong understanding of legal compliance and responsible armed security practices.
Level III (Armed) — Online + In-Person Certification Process
Complete Security Training USA is permitted to offer the Level III curriculum through the online portal. Students must complete all course materials and pass the exam online. However, to receive final certification, students must meet with a certified instructor for range qualification (approximately 5–8 hours in person). Once completed, the officer will receive their final certification to submit to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
